At Grow with Grace Counseling, I believe every child deserves a safe space to explore their emotions, process their experiences, and grow into their fullest selves. Childhood can be filled with both wonder and challenge. When difficult emotions or behaviors arise, therapy can be a powerful tool for healing and support.

I work with children who are experiencing:

• Frequent emotional outbursts or tantrums

• Aggression, hitting, or defiant behavior

• Excessive fear, anxiety, or worry

• Withdrawal, isolation, or shutting down

• Difficulty focusing or impulsive behavior

These behaviors are often signs that your child is overwhelmed and doesn’t yet have the tools to cope. My goal is to help them feel safe enough to express what they’re going through, build emotional awareness, and develop healthy ways of responding.

Therapy also includes collaboration with parents or caregivers - you are an essential part of your child’s healing journey.

Utilizing the therapeutic power of play, this modality improves communication and supports emotional regulation in a way that feels natural for children.

Art Therapy

Through guided artistic expression, children can access and articulate feelings that may be difficult to express verbally.

Using tailored techniques such as storytelling and metaphors, this approach helps children build emotional awareness.

“Behind every behavior is a feeling, and behind every feeling is a need. When we meet the need, we can change the behavior.”
