Who Am I
Professional
I have my LCSW in Wisconsin. I received my Masters degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. Before that, I completed my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology. I always knew I wanted to be in a helping profession, but it took me time to decide what capacity that would be. My personal and professional experiences lead me to have a passion for helping others heal and find their inner voice.
I've been working in the mental health field for 10 years, with a foundation in social work and a deep passion for trauma-informed care. My background includes roles in child safety services, crisis intervention alongside first responders, and inpatient psychiatric care for adolescents.
Personal
In my free time I enjoy spending time in nature. This includes lake days, hiking, and exploring nearby waterfalls. It helps me recharge and feel grounded. I’m also an animal lover and firmly believe in the emotional support they provide. I’m a dog mom, so my pup often accompanies me on these adventures!
I love to travel and immerse myself in new cultures. I feel it gives me different perspectives and understanding of diverse populations. This helps me grow both personally and professionally. I strive to always be open-minded to ensure others feel free to be themselves in my presence.
Last but certainly not least, I’m a mom. This is where I draw a lot of learning and skill-building to further assist in my work with postpartum women. Being a mother changes every dynamic of life. Through the good, the bad, and the ugly - we can draw strength to grow and become the mothers, women, and humans we are meant to be.
